Custom Design & Repairs

As artisans and jewelers, we love to restore favorite pieces nearly as much as we enjoy bringing new, creative designs to life.   And because we’re also a rock shop (the only such Vermont store that’s owned by a jeweler and provides skilled repairs too!), we’ve got all sorts of stones, gems and minerals in stock to create your perfect piece.

We’ve created jewelry to set heirloom stones that have started to feel out of date in their original settings.  We re-string pearls and beads from favorite pieces all the time.  Broken prongs, broken clasps, missing beads, polishing, thorough cleanings, reapplication of oxidation to help silver details pop:  all of these are things we’re glad to do to help you.

When it comes to custom design, we are glad to work on the most simple or elaborate pieces for you.  If you fall in love with a strand of pearls or sapphires or anything else here in the shop, we’re glad to hand-knot them for you.  We can make beautiful wire wraps out of a crystal, stone or antique coin or even fossil you find in the store – or one you bring from home.  We’re always happy to work with wedding couples to create perfect engagement rings and wedding sets out of whatever metals and stones fit your plans, and pride ourselves on providing custom-made jewelry for every budget.  (Of course we’ve always got beautiful pieces ready to go if you find it easier to choose something out of one of our cases.)
